I am a practicing artist living in Chalkwell (Southend). I have been drawing and painting for most of my life and it has always been my way of channelling my creativity.

After completing an Art Foundation course at Southend Ten where I met my life long artistic friends, I undertook a teaching career. However I have always been involved in Art and over the last decade exhibited my work.

​

I believe that good drawing skills are the basis foe all endeavours within art and to that end I work on sketch books and practice my drawing skills often.

​

The surroundings I live in have always been an influence to me. The Estuary features in many of my paintings. Also Nature and specifically my garden, which is my other love.

​

I admire greatly the work of the Impressionist movement. Artists Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir have been a great inspiration to me.
